Greetings

nice to meet you.

I'm Matsumasa, the manager of Petite Famille. I don't currently have any pets.

When I was in elementary school, I had a cute dog and we would go out together to the mountains and rivers and play together. He was like a little brother to me.

At the time, I didn't really understand the lifespan of pets, and I had never experienced the loss of someone close to me, so the grief I felt when he passed away was truly intense, and I experienced what is known as pet loss.

I was afraid of experiencing that pain again, so I couldn't bring myself to welcome a new child into my life.
I also felt that there was no one who could replace her. Even though I had so many fond memories of her, it had become difficult for me to bring up the topic of pets in my family.

When I was in high school, a friend from my club lost her pet and took a break from pet-related activities for a while. Not everyone had the experience of owning a pet, so they couldn't understand...I was really sad when I heard heartless comments like, "It's just a pet."

The term "pet loss" is now well known, but for those who have never experienced it, it is difficult to convey the deep sense of loss.
While bereavement leave is common when a family member passes away, it is sometimes not understood when it comes to a beloved family member, a pet...

At Petite Famille, we may find it difficult to change the way people think, but we hope to empathize with pet owners' feelings and help ease their sadness, even if just a little.

The shop name, Petite Famille, means "little family" in French.
For pet owners, pets are truly important family members. In order to create a form that allows them to hold on to their memories and overflowing love forever, artisans put their heart and soul into creating each stuffed animal, recreating every detail, including the fur color, pattern, eye color, roundness of the body, and even the cute pose that they always have.

At Petite Famille, we promise to be there for not only our owners, but also our pets.

We will donate 1% of our profits to the Japan Animal Welfare Association to support medical expenses and animal care costs for rescued dogs and cats, promote spay/neuter surgery to reduce the number of unhappy puppies, and help train disaster rescue dogs.

We will deliver a realistic stuffed animal and wholeheartedly support the happy life of pet owners and their pets.
